Excerpt from: "The Ceremony"

This is the part that really matters, for it is the part you won't be able to remember afterward because your heart will be beating too fast for you to concentrate on anything else. This is where life begins, and ends, where all loss and longing is forgotten-- at least for a little while.

For a few minutes, you and your guests will be able to experience true purity, emotion, and most of all, love, like it exists in few other places. For a few short minutes your soul is laid bare, and your breath is all that matters. You don't want to forget a thing like that.
