Frank Rapant documents everyday intimate moments in his most recent photographic series. He shares that, “Together with my wife, living in such intense closeness with our three young children has been one of the best and most difficult times of our lives. Every day is a roller coaster of joy and patience. We try to educate one, entertain another, and pacify the third, all while working full time jobs from home”. Rapant’s photographs demonstrate his belief that we will come through this time stronger as individuals and as families. This work represents what he did photographically while social distancing during the 2020 lockdown: landscapes, still-lifes, and family pictures.
